Royal Belfast Golf Course wanted to introduce the greenskeepers to all of their members. These are the people who work tirelessly to make sure the course is in tip-top condition. And it's not just for looks. Each type of machine cuts the grass in a very precise way to create different speeds. They must keep the course as free from leaves and tree debris as possible. Additionally, every autumn, they must not only aerate the land to keep the grass growing, but also add special organic material which keeps the course from flooding when the rains are heavy. There is so much that goes into all of this beauty.
