MOTHER'S DAY HIKE​

Instead of taking family portraits which are staged, I prefer to take them organically, and see how the day evolves. Whether that is inside a home or going out on a hike or doing your regular activities, documentary style photography allows me to really hone in on everyone's personality. Details emerge. Smiles happen but are not forced. Sometimes kids cry or get dirty. These are the memories that mean something.
